	Symphony #1-- 2nd movement--I think of all the great symphonies and how many of them are known for just one famous movement; while the other movements seem to be less familiar. My goal for my first symphony is to have each movement at the same level of interest and familiarity, while still maintaining a coherence to the complete work. Only time will tell if that has been accomplished as the other movements are polished and heard in sequence.

"Waltz For John and Yoko" genre: Contemporary

	Waltz for John and Yoko---This piece was intended simply to be entitled "Waltz in A Minor". However, shortly after its completion I saw a documentary about the Beatles on TV and in one memorable scene, John and Yoko were caught, on film, dancing in what looked like a recording studio, ala Abbey Road. There was no soundtrack to the clip, but in my mind I could hear the new A Minor waltz playing as they gracefully dance on. Hence the inspiration for the little waltz's title came at that moment sometime after the completion of the piece.

"Waltz For Sayeh" genre: Contemporary

	Waltz for Sayeh--While working on the Triptych Sonata with the artist Sayeh, I decided to try and express the essence of her lovely spirit in musical form and present it to her as a momento of our collaboration. Every time I play that piece I think of her beautiful and exotic personna, and how much joy there was in that collaboration.
