One of the tunes which shows what makes Green Pyramids so great! Fast paced in the beginning with edgy guitar riffs, 3 part vocal harmonies, rumbling bass lines, and driving percussion segues seamlessly into the ethereal bridge. |

Lullaby is the second track from Green Pyramids second CD release "There She Is".In this track Krystal MacKay's introspective vocals are paralleled with her expressive lead guitar play. The outstanding rhythm section of KC McGuire (bass) and Scott Bruce (drums) keep this song on steady pace with intricate walking lines and subtle accents. The flutes and keyboards (also played by MacKay) featured in the minimalistic bridge section only enhance the singer's thoughtful determination. Lullaby lands right in the middle of this album's collage of edgy guitars leads (Drawn To You,Want It Back), danceable grooves (This Is a Golden Age, Final), reflective piano moods(Are We There?, The Afterwards)and the power pop favorite, It's Not The Way. |
