"I wrote what I was feeling and going through at that time of my life. All of my songs are about a part of my life that needed changing or I was experiencing for the first time and wanting to cherish. So.... I wrote about it", Y've says.

"Throughout the entire process of the project that I finished with MikoD, I kept a personal journal of how I was feeling and those thoughts and feelings became the actual songs that your hear. In essence you are taking a look into my personal diary. This is my life you hear and feel on this album."

Fortunately the pain brings art a new beauty and that pain is the reflection you hear and feel in "Are You There Yet?"

So in all of her journey through this life on Earth as a background vocalist with major recording artists and producing and writing and performing with others, to single motherhood, to school, to just living, loving and being alive, hey Y've Kemp wants you to know one thing.....

"When I leave this planet I want to have savored every aspect of life that I can. In no way am I finished, I am still getting there myself."
