Hiko,international pianist/composer and oboist is a native of Canada who was raised in Athens, Greece. Inspired as a child by his mother's shimmering soprano voice, his love for classical music was born.
Hiko has held the positions of principal oboe for the Ocean State Light Opera,Bel Canto Opera Company,Musica Dolce Chamber Orchestra of Connecticut and sub-principal oboe for the Eastern Connecticut Symphony.As a pianist/composer he is one of the fastest rising artists in the New Age/ Classical music field, he is currently under a five-year agreement with a leading New Age record label, Real Music, and a 3 year recording contract with a Korean record label which will be releasing his solo CD in the Orient in May 2001. Hiko looks forward to hit tour of the Orient in the fall of 2001 in support of his solo album. He is on a multi-artist CD "Touching Beauty", which is currently in music stores throughout the world. His music can also be enjoyed on his full-length, solo album, entitled "First Embrace". His second CD entitled"The Secret Of My Heart" will be released in April of 2001.
