A bitter little song using the ever unpopular formula of Holger Hiller drum samples (from "Johnny"), kerzillions of guitars and a recorder solo. I like this one a lot too. I did two earlier versions of this song, one with church bells all over it which is quite nice. I ended up with that winter wonderland sort of tune at the end instead - anyone who knows what the tune is, please let me know so I can give the appropriate credits. |

Task: take a one second sample from a 1966 Unit 4+2 b-side and expand it to sound like My Bloody Valentine meet Neu! in space. |

My favourite song, and the third from last song to be completed in 1994. Apologies to Peter Hammill for nicking a bit of his song "Vision" at the end, and I believe I sampled the Pointer Sisters right at the end too, but I'm not sure. Oh, and the drums are off Cameo's "Word Up". A bizarre mix of sources, but rest assured that the final result sounds NOTHING like any of those samples! This was my remake of the song recorded as the follow-up single to "Of Gates" in 1990. |

No, not Bill Gates. An underground abstract electric folk classic from 1989. |
