Sirke is from Latvia. We do play some kind of instrumental music,
performed on live instruments but leaning towards electronic music. Some compare us to Mogwai and Tortoise, but we do not think this is quite
true. Now it sounds more like a crossover between 80-disco and acid jazz
mixed with influences from almost any musical style. The
current line-up is: Juris Alksnis - guitar, synth, Laura Ziemele - bass,
Martinez Gonzalez - synth, Hencha - DJ, Uldis Zarins - drums. Our new
album, called "He probably hoped to get away with just a simple apology...
I don't think so, not this time" is out now. You might be able to see us
playing live somewhere Europe this spring/summer, but there is no set
schedule yet, so let us know if you would want to see us playing in your
town, may be we can work it out...
