 About Amapola
Born in Cebu City. Parents: Manny & Sheila Cabase. Began
her musical career at the age of five, singing her father's compositions & her
mother's lyrics in the Visayan movies subsequently starring in her own films as a child
star. Her career blossomed & took her to Manila where her television, stage, recording
& film career began & flourished. Dubbed the 'Jukebox Queen'(because Jukeboxes were filled with her hit
singles)in the Philippines, she sought more challenges & went on concert tours in Asia
& the Pacific, and eventually the US Mainland - juggling appearances at The Fairmont
Hotels in San Francisco and Dallas & in her own Magazine TV-Variety show "Amapola
Presents" in San Francisco KEMO-TV for eight years.
Scaling the heights of her musical
career took her around the world inland & at sea as headliner onboard some of the
world's most luxurious ships.

About Manny CabaseManny Cabase was awarded the trophy and prestigious title of "Cebu's Mr. Music" having garnered several awards for his Musical Scoring and Direction in Visayan Films during its heyday and gaining recognition as Radio and TV personality in the 50s and 60s hosting his "Manny Cabase Show" on ABS-CBN Channel 2 Cebu and conducting his own band in the most popular nightclubs in Cebu year by year.
