Changes
I've revamped my approach to music. I used to be a
kind of "purist" if you will, but I found that gave me
a sterile sound, too clean. Suddenly, in the last weeks,
I've found that I have this odd obsession with knobs,
buttons, sliders, faders, noise. Like Dr. Frankenstein, I want
to go get peices of things that dont quite fit together
and MAKE them fit together. I dont want a single sound
I use to be pure, I edit and tweak and adjust and
distort every sound I use. That dumb purist approach
took all the fun out of it, and now my friends, I am having a great time
with music again!
New song: Transit 13. A bit of an experiment with my classical
influence mixed with hard funk. This song is mean, and will
kick your butt if you look at it funny.
New song: On The Verge. A moody melodic ambient-trance song, I was not
in a good mood when I wrote it.

I am on the verge of a revelation. I find myself standing in a hole that gets deeper and deeper. I try to scream for help but no one listens. Finally, I stop screaming and realize that there is a shovel in my hands. Its a song about guilt. |

Like Canavistic, I mixed some classical music with an electronic sound. One of my more interesting songs, it mixes elements of Gabriel Faure's Agnus Dei (part of Requium) and the medieval poem Omnis Mundi Creatura. This song secured my nickname of Captain Crunch. |
