welcome to equatorial!

equatorial makes electronica of various sorts. sometimes straight ahead techno, sometimes gooey ambient stuff, sometimes crazy experimental tracks and spacey sounds. not all songs are electronic-based, however, and the guitar makes the odd guest appearance here and there. equatorial has been an entity since 1997 acting mainly under the direction of steve steffler. many of the early tracks have questionable quality (esp. vocals), but as equatorial matured their sound has evolved into an accessable blend of ambient goodness and quirky, lo-fi guitar pleasure. please download a few tracks for yourself and see!
