Jimmy Russell,
along with anything he could steal from his former bandmates,
most notably lyricist Jim Moore, and karmic twin
Bill Greenrose.

Uptempo guitar basher built around a horn riff. Rambo (www.breakingartists.com) mentioned it as being on his "personal home rotation" for the week of 18 Jan 1999.

Early-Squeeze-ish pop; love gone friendly.
Review:
I liked the simplicity of this tune right from the get go. The mix includes a clean little organ riff, simple distorted rhythm guitar, drums, bass, and understated yet nice vocals that form a nice bit of power popish rock. The melody is subtle enough that you won't get tired of hearing "Strange Platonic Thing" over and over again.
