    Story Behind the Song
Ah, how amazing love can be. You create this make-believe world where sleep doesn't matter, real life doesn't matter-nothing matters except this thing you've created in your mind. You believe everything your lover says, and are stunned when it doesn't work out. You find yourself down on your knees trying everything you can to get it back.

The title came about before I met the "Someday" girl, but the lyrics were written in March 2000 when things started falling apart between us. I couldn't figure out why and it was driving me crazy. I would have done anything for her, but it wasn't enough. I believe everything happens for a reason, so maybe it really was better that way.

    Lyrics
You built me up like I was some kind of Superman
Made me believe in some kind of Never Neverland
Treated you right like a queen with diamonds
But it's not enough to make you stay

Baby I'm down on my knees
Begging to you won't you please
Help me to shake this disease
Cuz I'm fallin' apart at the Seams

I'm tearing my hair out just trying to understand
How one minute you say that I'm your man
Then the next you run into his arms again
Hot and cold is how you play
Well, maybe, baby, maybe it's better that way
