Probably our most radio friendly song from the album. Powerful chorus, with soft verses. Lyrics relevant to everyday life. |

Story Behind the Song
Our first song written as a band. Greg, Tim, and Jason arranged this song in one evening soon after Greg and Jason met Tim. Actually, about thirty minutes after the rendevous, Tim put lyrics he was already working on, to the music Greg and Jason had been writing. It was all gel from there.
Lyrics
So many feelings still
Have stayed with me, though its been years
Cannot forget the way you looked
At me so many times, My breath you took
I am alone now and I can see
that i should just let loose of the memories.
(chorus)
Please, I cannot free myself from you
I've lost all dignity
You have ruined me for good
Or so it seems
And though i try so hard to get away
Under You is where I'll always stay
The last time I tried to stop for breath
I was left choking
I truly loved you to death
Not once was i joking.
(chorus)
Please, I cannot free myself from you
I've lost all dignity
You have ruined me for good
Or so it seems
And though i try so hard to get away
Under You is where I'll always stay
(refrain)
There was no compromise
I was drowned in a sea of lies
I've played the fool for the very last time
There's something I must do
Its over that is true
I must get out from under you
Im under you.
(repeat chorus)
