Story Behind the Song
This song stems from that age old curiousity about our existence, the origins of this world beyond the scientific theory of evolution. The idea that there is a higher purpose to our existence on this world has been and is the subject of many religious and even common place discussions. Perhaps we should be a little more curious and always be on the lookout for the true nature of our existence. The lyrics are all about invoking curiosity, that maybe in general terms the origin of the cosmos came about in a way other than the evolution theory suggests. Each of us has the freedom to make whatever choices we desire, but do we have the freedom to choose the results of those choices? Our choices determine our fate, therefore, choose wisely. This song was written over a four month period.
Lyrics
And in the midst of the deep
A ray of light broke
Bringing life to those who had it not
Order to the scattered
And a universal calm
And so it was today, tomorrow and forever...
Today, tomorrow and forever...
And untempered, the child took these into his hands and he began to grow
The child was curious
Virtue, Integrity, Honesty, Charity
There are choices
To each his fate
