	Story Behind the Song Engineer / prodcucer notes R.A. Brice recorded and mixed this song @ rebel base recording studio. Recorded on 16 tracks of 20 bit Alesis LX20 Adats. And mixed on a Yamaha 01v enhanced for Adat (I can't say enough good things about this board) Monitors were Tannoy PBM 6.5 powered by a samson servo 120 amp. Due to a burglary at the studio the microphone selection became quite limited, ADT sucks ass. Basic tracks were laid. Drim mics were shure and radioshack PZM overheads. The bass drum track was so impossible to get with limited selection we triggered an Alesis D4 for a more solid kick. The guitar and bass were then over dubbed Direct and room miked sounds blended. I asked John to layer his parts to accent the rhythm of the guitar and bass. Then The vocalists came in and tracked, very gated. Mixing took place later on in the evening for roughs, then the next day for finals. Roughly 24 hours straight in the studio, vegetarian pizza and fruit punch snapple were consumed.
