A rather strange, melodic song, repeatedchurchbell motifs underneath the lyrics...its Celtic meets Zulu meets something else..

    Story Behind the Song
Most of my music has a weird religiously obsessed aspect to it, which only becomes apparent to me after the fact. This one I guess, is about the fight between mind and body (the english phrase of the title 'at sixes and sevens' - at odds, in other words..
Its also about the army, but jeez - is this a book? Just listen to the song, read the lyrics...

    Lyrics
I went to the Buddha there was no one home
A note on the door 'leave me alone'
Went to church but God wasnt there-
    Just people singing songs
and Satan grinning as they talked in tongues-

And why's it always raining in Heaven?
Why's my mind and body at sixes and sevens?
so is yours so is mine-
(Comes the dawn it'll be fine-)

I went to the parties I cruised through the night
Ideology is grey but we are black and white,
-And I smell the blood of the little boys
Who went to war and broke their toys-

And why's it always raining in Heaven?
Why's my mind and body at sixes and sevens
so is yours so is mine-
(Comes the dawn it'll be fine-)

And I bark and spin and jump for joy
on the graves of all the deluded boys.
    who wonder
why's it always raining in heaven
-and why the mind and body's
    at sixes and sevens
    so is yours?
    so is mine-
(Comes the dawn it'll be fine)

Come let's talk about the death of kings
And puppets dancing on their strings
( I'm a ghost dancer with a hole in my soul-)
(I'm a ghost dancer with a hole in my soul-)
(I'm a ghost dancer with a hole in my soul-)
