Lyrics
Queen of the World
(Poetry and composition by Psyphre Christ)
The night bore the full moon, pale and haunting
Light shines down on mercury.
In teary ears she surveys, black mane windblown
Castled on the Baltic Sea
She dreams of lands away
Of cultures born in otherface
So she says her prayers and saves her coin
To make her escape
All her life shes been here
The travelers of far and near
Their Mighty sails so come and gone
Spinning yarns into the night
in second sight their stories light
Imagination teasing her
The dream of Wonders Great
Consuming, drowning, like a lake
Of impatience grown like cancer
Can no longer wait
Chorus:
Queen of the World
Shes only.
The night bore the full moon, pale and haunting
Rustled waves of mercury
And under cover of the stars, upon the cliffs a childs play yard
She came to say, her last goodbyes
A journey great begins
And fear reveals fear underskin
When the night breeze whispers softly.
Your planet awaits you
Chorus:
Twas the night the dying moon, the weakened light entombs
The mirrorlake of misery
Shes seen what few will ever know, days have come years have gone
The world shes seen , and wonder done
Reflecting gotten times
And drinking poisonberry wine
Now a dagger is her ticket
To the other side
