	Story Behind the Song This song was originally written on a two string banjo. The lyrics came about a year after the music was written, and deal with the disillusionment of the life I was leading at the time. Lyrics My ideas fell short of what actually had happened, If you want to make it happen then you'd better be sure. I finally realized that all those things you prophecized Would come to pass before my eyes and make me look around. Who told you that I came here? Always put the blame here When everything's the same here And you walk through that door. I was feeling new here, Now I feel so blue here. Why do I want to get out of here And start another story? Tell me there's a reason for this change of season. And maybe you're just teasing me, all this will come along. I finally realized that all those people telling lies Would help me see through their disguise and maybe find some meaning.
