Lyrics
On That Road A Rockin
I've been thinkin bout all those years I wasted
Spending time in a job I didn't like.
Well it almost drove me crazy,
my folks thought I was lazy,
but that wasn't what it was all about.
I didn't know what I wanted to do
till one day it came shining on through
and that's when the band began to play.
Yeah we're on that road a rockin,
on that road a rockin,
on that road a rockin night and day.
Well we packed our truck and we headed out
We didn't have much money,
but we sure found out.
It's a whole lot of fun playing in a band
You can stay up all night,
You can party late,
You can get up in the morning and do it again.
But you got to be tough playing one night stands
Well it really can be exiting,
sometimes it's downright frightening,
but that's what life on the road is all about.
