	Story Behind the Song Everyone would joke about what happens when you play a country record backwards (the dog comes back to life, the truck is OK, the ex-wife comes back home, and the like). Well I wrote this song to reinforce that initially. Well it took on a life of its own and the song was able to stand on its own two feet. I like performing it because it gets a few laughs. I really enjoy the traditional music emitted by the piano. This song was inspired within a couple of hours, but it took a couple of weeks to step it right and sequence the words for the logical progressions toward that end. I usually record my songs within 2 to 4 takes of about an hour or two per take and this song was about in the middle of the road.
