	Story Behind the Song I wrote this many moons ago and I was reflecting on some scriptures I read and their descriptions which sounded like a nuclear war (not bad for something written about 200 years ago), so I just paraphrased some of what I read. Lyrics I shake the dirt off of my head, I look around see millions lying dead. With their eyes melted out of their heads Streets are red, bloody red. Love and peace are nowhere to be found Everything's just leveled to the ground And still the battle rages on But who's victory has been won? Chorus: And I'm almost home 2x v.2 Its been a lousy fight Hear the kids crying into the night Bodies piled around in every town, all around. I lift my eyes up to the sky I look at all the missles flying by The oceans turn a bloody red All the living things are dead. Repaet chorus- into solos, then outro with chorus.
