	Story Behind the Song This song was written in two parts. First the bass/guitar lines were written (it originally had 2 guitar parts, this has been concatenated into one. Eventually it will get redone with a second guitar, but we like it how it is for now.). After the fact, I wrote the words to it. The irony is, unbeknownst to me, it was already titled Rescue before I wrote the lyrics, and the first line I wrote was "In need of rescue". God's awesome. Lyrics In need of rescue... To make it out alive... Recall Eternal Fortune... The goal for which I used to strive... How could I fall away? How could I leave this peace? I used to lift Him up And make myself decrease. But now it's all me, My own goals my selfish gain. Forget the weak, And suffer my Eternal Pain. I'd fallen away so long ago, I think I'm too far lost. But He came, I remember, He came and paid my cost. And now I'll never give it away, My love, my life, my breath, I'll never stray from Eternal Truth, the reason for which I sing. Because I've given my life, my soul unto my King. Now there's no need of rescue, Now I'll make it out alive. Forget about this Earthly Fortune, the goal for which I used to strive. It's all about Eternal Peace, And helping those I know are lost. Just telling them Redeemer came, He came to pay their cost. Now there's no need of rescue... I made it out alive...
