    Story Behind the Song
Isn't it strange how we all have a tendency to justify our own inadequacies while judging so harshly those whose inadequacies are not the same as ours. And why do we want everyone to look and think the same way we do when we ourselves may not be right? We are all on this planet together for a temporary time so let's make the best of it by being a blessing to each other and not a curse. Only God is the true, accurate and ultimate judge and he judges the heart which you and I cannot see. We should try our best to be honest and sincere. Let the real you shine. Try not to be a "brown-nose, yes-man or a fake" and realize everyone deserves a chance to improve and to be an asset in this temporary world we live in.

    Lyrics
    VERSE 1:
I'm movin' down the road just being myself, I've got peace of mind can't you see.
I know who I am and what I believe, even if you don't agree with me.
I'm tired of all the status and the titles and positions. In the end they don't mean a thing.
If you wanna feel good then do what you should and be honest with yourself today, and

    CHORUS:
Stand up and be the real you, don't worry what the people think.
Speak your mind and try to be kind, take a stand for what you believe.
Be honest and true no matter how much it hurts, this is what the big world needs.
Stand up and be true and maybe others will too, and if they don't then tell em' to leave.

    VERSE 2:
Mr. yes-man and brown-nose, they are close friends, you work with em' everyday.
They smile at your face and lie to your back, you know it's a big disgrace.
I'd rather be a poor man and know who I am, instead of playin' all those crazy games.
You probably don't like me, cause I'm not just like you. We don't look and think the same.

    Chorus:

    Verse 3:
You think you're a good man and you're so fine but you judge everyone you meet.
You like to put on the dog and use your smile and your charm, so everyone will think you're sweet.
But deep inside you're afraid cause of the things that you do and you're hoping nobody finds out.
Hey you're nothin' but a liar who refuses to see what sincerity is all about. I say

    Chorus:
