	Story Behind the Song This tune began as a Christmas poem to my mother Trisha. Soon after, I put the poem to music. This song debut live (with my mother present), in May of 1998 at Fibber McGees (now closed), in Pacific Beach, CA. It was hard to get through the song without tearing up.
