Story Behind the Song
This song was writtin in 1993 dedicated to a lady who just couldn't get things right, in life. It was writtin on piano during a small stint before rehab. I recorded it on 4 track in 93 and left it for about 5 years. Recently redid some of the parts and retracked it. About 6 months to record.
Lyrics
Why you gonna tear it all apart, when there's so little to do.
Why ya bring it to a fall, what have you got to prove.
You justify your reason, it's something that you won't do.
I never said it's easier, what you think you don't you've got to loose.
I know I'm not a hero, but I know you start at somewhere.
I know I'm not your teacher, your classroom lessons, are hardly read.
No textbook teaches us.
No promise, makes this up.
It's all this sound of miracles.
It's OK, it's not real, you won't fall.
I've got fifty ways to fix this decay.
it's trancending into, your, commercial domain.
I know I'm not a hero, but I know you start if you care.
I'll never see the greenland, I've been blinded by time and I'll never say your mine.
