	Story Behind the Song Recently I played a wedding and a little trio played this piece. I was unfamiliar with it. At first I thought it was by Debussy. They informed me it was the flower duet from the opera, Lakme, by Leo Delibes. It moved me so that I felt compelled to adapt it for brass and record it. This I did on 8/17 and 8/18. I use a cornet, flugelhorn, trombone and a trumpet for the parts.
