Story Behind the Song
I was layin' in bed listening to a storm one night and I was inspired to write the poem. It didn't take long for me to record and finish the song, about 4 hours.
Lyrics
Thunder and raindrops audible in the Night,
Peaceful, rhythmic beating and pulses of Light.
I wish I was as free as that light in the Air,
Free to come, go, do Anywhere, but still Nowhere.
No frail body to be harmed just energy in the Sky.
Forever surging, flashing boldly no need for anyone to Die.
No need for money, no need for a Home,
For I posess the entire heavens to eternally Roam.
Maybe lightning is just departed loved ones stopping By,
To check in on the living, angels Eye in the Sky.
Holy water rains down to wash away all Tears,
With a soothing, soft melody to ease our many Fears.
Of things yet to come and days yet to Be,
And thoughts of how many you have left to See.
But when I Die dont you dare say Bye,
For one day youll join me as that bolt in the Sky.
The most powerful of all bursting through the Night,
Shining for miles turning darkness to Light.
Think of me flashing if life puts up a Fight,
Think of me shocking if in need of more Might.
Follow your heart it will lead to whats Right.
If lost hear my words, in thunder and raindrops audible in the Night.
