Story Behind the Song
Samba Batucada is the classical brazilian street groove, usually with added singers, cavaquinhos (i'm not sure about the spelling :-( ) etc. It sounds best with a LARGE group of GOOD musicians (quel surprise...) But if you've ever heard a group of 60 (or more) experienced drummers playing fast batucada on the street, you will not forget this. (it's much better, when you are a member of that group...)
At Berlins "Carneval of Cultures" a real good batucada is played by "Sapucaiu No Samba".......
