This uses some of the same material as "Shechinah Glory," but in a different way - for instance, it has a pulse and a piano. | MP3.com CD: The L.A. Sketches - buy it! MP3.com CD: The L.A. Sketches - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
With a word meaning "power" as the title, maybe you'd expect something more blatantly energetic. I'm looking at it from a different perspective. Think of it this way: as grass or a weed can crack and break through a concrete sidewalk, so can "dunamis," the power of God, break through our old, dead self to exhibit something new and alive - a piece of Himself. The nature of the piece has more to do with that constancy of power that can bring down mountains over time than energetic display.
