    Story Behind the Song
This one goes out to all of the musicians/artists
out there playing the clubs. We might think we're
'expressing' ourselves, but really, we're here to
sell beer. This is based on a true story. NYC bands
try to guess the booker's name (hint, it rhymes
    with 'blowin').

    Lyrics
Well I stayed up all night
    writing something new
Just so I'd have something to play
    Now I learned the words
    Taught the band the tune
    but it didn't matter anyway
    'Cause unless you spend
It'll be the end of me
    working in this place
    So buy more alcohol
    and drink it all
Or I'll be gone without a trace

    Cause I'm here
    To Sell You Beer
    That's right I'm here
    To Sell You Beer

Go to the bar, get the waitress
tell her to hurry, tip her big
    I'm tellin' everybody
    Spend your money
Oh yeah...maybe check out my gig

    I'm here
    To Sell You Beer
    That's right I'm here
    To Sell You Beer

    Drinkings important so drink
    I can't play if those
    cash registers don't chink

Couple of weeks ago, I did a show
    It was a rippin' affair
    Everybody screamed, I felt redeemed
A whole ton of people were there
But I felt like a hooker
when I called back the booker
    to Beg for another show
He said "Joe, one thing I know,
If no one's drinking when your playing
You've gotta go, you gotta go
    you gotta go"
    But I'm here
    To sell You Beer
    I said I'm here
    To sell you beer
    I'm here here here
To sell you beer beer beer
    That's right I'm here
I'm here I'm here here here
    I'm here I'm here
