Story Behind the Song
Tor Sindre came up with this cool guitar-riff. I wrote some lyrics about the feeling of being high on heroin (not that I would know... just fantasizing) and the pain of addiction. We recorded it in the middle of the night in my bedroom. We didn't want to wake up the neighbours, so the guitar-amplifier was turned down so you could hardly hear it... this gave lots of noise on the guitar-track, but this was filtered out on the computer.
Lyrics
you watch me floating, you watch me flowing into time
I look beneath me, I see you staring at my crime
so free me, please free me, come free me from my need
please free me, come free me, so free me from my greed
I start to vibrate, it's time to put my feet on ground
you're there to catch me, I'm in your arms witout a sound
now where's my needle, now where's the only soul I know?
if I'm still falling, see how beautiful I flow
