	Story Behind the Song I knew Gina would die from the minute I started this story. I don't know why; with other stories I've started thinking that a person would live, and they didn't, or that a person would have a happy ending, and they don't. But I knew Gina would die. My novel, Burning Moon, features three or four escapes from other werewolves, but that novel features several exceptional situations (situations whose exceptional status will not be fully made clear until the third volume in that series), and I wanted to write a story showing exactly what happens when a werewolf comes upon a group of ordinary, unsuspecting people. People die; the werewolf is extremely powerful, and while it does not eat humans to live, its purpose in its strange life is to kill human beings--as many as possible. Thanks for listening.
