Lyrics
SUNSET DRIVER
I've been riding, riding all day long
I've been riding and the road goes on
I'm driving, I've seen the sun go down
I've got some money and a brand new car
Don't know where I'll go, I'm gonna go far.
I've been driving, I know these highway signs
Till I'm done driving; seen every town 'n bar
Some people ask me where I've been
Some people ask me what I've seen. I keep riding...
I've sung songs and I've played the blues,
Where I don't belong, I have to move and keep riding...
I've been riding since the day I could drive
I'll be riding right into the break of dawn
I've paid my bills, I've got no regrets
Cashed my check now Im ready, to get on, with riding, till I cant go on...
[ Ride on, Sunset Rider, drive on, all roads lead you back home ]
You'll find courage, strength, and hope
You'll meet folks of different strokes,
So keep riding...
Some people ask me where I've been,
Some people ask me what I've seen but I keep riding...
