Story Behind the Song
This song was written by me (Cat) in the 70's and later recorded by "APPLE VIPER" at Metalworks studio (Owned by the band "Triumph") in Toronto. It was part of the band's first studio experience and was later used in a TV commercial the band starred in for a local leather store.
Lyrics
Well, I waited so long for the light to come on when I needed it
So I sat there so long, never right, never wrong, never seeing it
And its hard, hard to tell
If its worth everything that you sell
Growing old, going fast
When you look at your life and its past
Then I found what I knew was too good to be true and I threw it
Day by day it flew way and before it could stay I misused it
And its hard, hard to tell
If its worth everything that you sell
Growing old, going fast
When you look at your life and its past
