	Story Behind the Song I had this idea for a song that was about this alien, and it was... just about that. Richard and I wrote the words in about 10 minutes, rehearsed it twice, then recorded. We did a lot of improvisation in recording (the backup vocals, the talking during the break down, the epic ending). Also, during recording, my mom came home from work and into the room, which was a little embarrassing. I can only wonder what she was thinking when she saw me and Richard hudled around the computer singing about being an alien. If you listen closely during the middle of the song, you can hear her keys.
