    Story Behind the Song
James, Sean, and I wrote this one nite while practicing. We really liked the chord progression. The way you hear it now is the way we recorded it that nite( plus some magic in the studio mixing ).

    Lyrics
When i first came to the city, I saw things I'd never seen. I was clean of out of money, Still trying to chase a dream. Don't know what I was waiting fo, Maybe heaven coming down. I was sitting on a corner, Playing for quarters in a hat. Looking through the fog in the city, Into a sky jet black. A stranger came and spoke to me, Starlted me from my sleep. He said "You play that song pretty good, I know a place you need to be." CHORUS: Where the doors are always open, So want you come on in. There's smokey rooms with neon lights and the night time never ends. It's full of broken hearted dreamers, whose story will tell. Of a little place just down the road, called the LONELY HEARTS HOTEL..We hailed the next taxi, Road to 4th avenue. Then we got out inthe cold night air, and walked a block or two. We walked in thru the swinging doors, Past the bar up to the stage. I was nervous at first, but in just one verse, I knew I'd found my place. Repeat Chorus..
