Story Behind the Song
Epic Records wanted a single - Considering our tracks averaged between eight and twlve minutes each; I went into the studio, timed 3:30 into the reel and cut the tape. That was to guarantee we had a single length track- it almost worked!
Rhe had this beautiful concept - a place from her youth where she felt so free. We wrote 'Open Airhe' in the studio and for me it is the perfect essence of what made our music work. We each contributed exactly what we each do best.
We actually sped the tape up to record the bassline because the bass notes we wanted were below Diego's normal tuning. That's why that line is so fat and rich. Rob played kalimba, and I actually sing a line on this track, but don't blink... you'll miss it.

Lyrics
Alone outside, all is quiet now, in Open Airhe, Release me.
The Eyes of feeling...kiss me, and cry to me.
In Open Airhe, the Open Airhe.....Release me.
Temperate wind sing to me,
bowing to a willow tree
In the Summer, Winter Springs
Darkness falls on Angel's wings
A touch of healing - Deep Inside of Me
oh, Sweet Silence...
Take me further, take me on
Open Airhe - Deep Inside of Me
Gentle One, peaceful Son
Twilight moon
The World has won
Free from Heaven's blissful hold
Starlight find me to my soul
The touch of healing - Deep Inside of Me
Speak, Sweet Silence... Release
Open Airhe
Alone outside, all is quiet now, in Open Airhe, Release
The Eyes of feeling...kiss me, and cry to me.
In Open Airhe, the Open Airhe.....Release me.
