Traditional style foot tapping, guitar slapping delta blues tune in the spirit of Charlie Patton. This take has the heavy beat of the alternate take, but it is a bit mellower. For a more energetic version of this song listen to the alternate take (found below). | MP3.com CD: When I Think of Ramblin' . . . - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
This song is fun to play because of the heavy beat. It is based around a "down the ladder" type riff that was common with Charlie Patton, Son House, and Willie Brown in the early days of the Delta Blues. This version is from a later take. It is played without the finger picks so the guitar is a bit quieter which allows the foot tapping to come through better. The vocals are also more controlled because they don't have to keep up with the loud guitar.
Lyrics
Oh my baby, what's the matter with you? (2X)You flirt with every man that you run into. You come in early in the mornin', when the sun is shining bright. (2X)You hair is tangled, and you ain't talkin' right. My little girl, stole from my best friend. (2X)She's acting crazy, want to give her back again.Oh, if you see her, you better step aside. (2X)She gone and stole my mean .45.Oh my baby, what's the matter with you? (2X)You ruin every man that you run into.
