	Story Behind the Song Another example of splicing two songs in one: The first part of the song was written in G#, whereas the latter part in G & was entitled "Speeding Up the Process". Lyrically the 2 songs just fit well together. The narrator at first, seems to be advising all, especial- ly Christians, to not follow his ways & to stay focused on Jesus. On the second half of the song he has narrowed it down to one sub- ject matter: a fast-living type character who preferred to sell her soul to the glamourous Hollywood lifestyle than stay spritually based. This song took the longest to record with several sessions and overdubs. The basic drum track, piano & clavinet were the first task. Bass Guitarist, Bliss, was granted an entire session of his own (the results will show why, we believe: amazing!) The backup vocalists had their own as well, followed by the final session where I laid down the lead vocals, tambourine, & organ solo. Even though I wanted to make my listener think, I also wanted to make them boogie, so I gave it dis- co-type feel.
