Story Behind the Song
Written in the early days of the band as a 4 track solo recording of Chris Foree, Wallace later discovered it in 1997 and re-recorded it for his project, which was later scrapped for use in the Self Employed album. Written about the observation for an absence of signifigant others, and inspired by a foreign film.
Lyrics
She knows my name, and I know her too
she's dead or dying, she won't be born new
She gets no sleep, she hides from the sun
she floats away, but we meld into one
We meld into one but she's so far away
She don't know that I can taste her tears
she can't see what she feels, but I know its fear
She can't see whats wrong, but I can show her thru
She stares at window panes, but I don't know what she'll do...
We meld into one, but shes so far away
I'm thinking of her everyday...
...and we meld into one.
