Story Behind the Song
This is the theme from the movie "Black Orpheus", a Brazilian movie made in the 1960's. It is a version of the Greek myth "Orpheus", but set in Brazil at Carnaval time. In the movie, this was the song Orpheus had to play every morning for the sun to come up.
