Prog style rock tune, with a fast beat. Story about finding oneself, and asking a lot of questons of those who would try to get you to blindly follow them |

Story Behind the Song
This is part 3 of Suite: Trial by Fire, and was the most difficult track to arrange and perform. It has a dance type beat to it, and it was suggested to me that this would be a good nightclub tune. This is my trial in life to try to find myself, as I guess everyone asks themselves at one time in their life "is this all their is?". As with all of the tunes that I perform, there are no tricks as far as if I can't play it in real time, I don't record it. There are 4 versions of this tune, and this is the one that sounded the best. Enjoy!
Lyrics
In life you travel do anyone see
Where to go and who to be
A bunch of lemmings, go to and fro
You crazy people, what do you know?
I wander around, he watches me
A predator, take advantage of me
Learn to be strong, and always ask why
Take for granted the sun and the sky
I'm really lost, don't know where to go
I wander down to the mystery show
The people tell me go their way
Do what they want and what they say
Don't stand out don't be not the same
Or they will declare you dumb or insane
Make you take drugs, and dumb you up
Just like a sheep get your throat cut
I try to see where I fit in
It's hard I think and I need to win
I'll be just me and the hell with the rest
I stand alone, and I think I'm blessed.
