	Story Behind the Song This one was written and recorded in 1993 in about three days, and done on a Yamaha 4-track! I was struggling with God on some issues. The idea is to be real, don't fake it , don't play games, especially with God. Just be transparent and honest, even if it means saying things that aren't "nice". I decided to master it to CD recently, so here it is. Lyrics used to think i knew, i don't know nothin' you want me to be real, i'll tell you somethin' i step outside and i take a look i'm wide open, read my book think i'll set myself down right here and share the darkness inside that's not so clear i'm runnin' away there's no good reason to stay, yeah are my actions inappropriate by finding solace in the things you create? can we just be friends right here and now? if that's possible can you show me how? how much flippin' pressure does it take to make a winnin' man out of me? and is it really inappropriate to find some solace in the things that you create? and i don't wanna play, an if i don't, you gonna throw the ball anyway?
