	Story Behind the Song Improv. #5 "Spring Valley Sunset" (2000) Ljova, (acoustic) viola Rec. live, May 30th, 2000 on a field at the Vision Vacation Camp for the Blind, Spring Valley, New York I was in a very lonely mood. The girl I like was not returning my favors (again), the cell-phone wasn't ringing, and we had just rehearsed for six or seven hours. I was tired of music, and the sun was setting. I went to a distant field in the camp, and wanted to record a very pure improv., of me blending in with the sounds of nature. I think it came out rather well. It's great to play chamber music with the birds, and have passing-by airplanes provide the bass-line. I feel this is my best improvisation yet. N.B.
