	Us Girls was a labour of love for the multi-talented composer and musician A.A.Owen. It was a chance to write music for three singers whom he particularly admires. Sue Jones-Davies (actress and singer) is known the world over for her portrayal of the 'Welsh Tart' in Monty Python's 'Life of Brian'; she also starred in the long-running BBC series 'Rock Follies', 'Lloyd George' and 'Brideshead Revisited'. Bobby Barnwell is the lead singer from Ida Red and, in the opinion of many fans, Britain's number one female country singer. Anita Gabrielle was lead singer of Melody Maker Rock Contest-winning band The Crew, and later with the single's band Zenana, before becoming a widely respected singer-songwriter.
