Story Behind the Song
This music was composed by John David Thomas in his home in a suburban section of Indianapolis, Indiana, USA during the year of 1979...John was depressed during this time period, and became "musically inspired" one afternoon while seated at his trusty keyboard, the Fender Rhodes electric piano...being in a melancholoy mood, this music just "came into John's head", and only took about 15 minutes to compose. The recording was made at a pro studio in Indianapolis (Soundsmith Studio) in March 1980, and the entire composition was successfully recorded in only 2 takes!! This recording received air play in 1980 on WFBQ-FM radio station in Indianapolis!! It became a real favorite of crowds where the band played in central Indiana during that time period (early 1980's). It is extremely energetic, and should provide a musical and emotional "lift" to anyone who hears it
