	Story Behind the Song My father is a radio aficionado, and my house had scanners, short waves, and Ham radio recievers and transmitters in almost every room. The idea behind the song was to build layers of simple signals and have them result in a wall of sound, where the individual sounds lose thier character to create one complex signal.
