	Story Behind the Song Meanie's Boiling Boys was the name of the band which I formed somewhere in the eighties. I liked to have fun (actually, I still do), and was more or less obsessed by meaningless, kitschy, absurd b-movies like 'The Toxic Avenger', 'Bad Taste', 'The Killer Tomatoes', 'My Mother Is An Alien', 'Track 29' and things like that... We gave live shows with The Mean Rocket, the space ship that we had built ourselves. Meanie, our front lady singer, was dressed in pink, wearing white plastic boots and a white boa, and a flashing red heart. She always had her electronic bobby dog with her on stage... We had the band for many years, with Meanie as the front lady singer, and I made a lot of songs in that period, so, Meanie's Boiling Boys and The Return Of Meanie should in fact be a double-cd. Most songs are rock songs, based on heavy guitar riffs and solo's, kitschy lyrics, and lots of poppy synthesizers. I can't deny there were blues, soul and funk influences...
