A great song, a change from harder stuff that TFG usually swings toward, but a great song none-the-less |
CD: Too Far Gone
Label: Independant
Credits: Drew for writing this song on top of a un-finished house drunker than poop after getting sold out by an un-named chick |
Story Behind the Song
Basically I wrote this song when i was really drunk, after I was supposed to hang out with this girl that works at a near by coffe shop. after getting mad and storming off for no reason at all, I went to an un-occupied house near by with some beer, a guitar, some paper, a pen, and some ideas and came down off the house with what i think is our best song.
Lyrics
I called you up, I took you out
Showed you what life, is all about
You say goodbye, I walk away
Maybe Ill see you, another day
Pulled in the driveway, locked the door
I wanted to talk , a little more
Then there you were, on my machine
Saying Im a dream
But we cant be seen
I see you every now and then
And I know that Ill do it again
I know Ive done it once before
But you I just cant ignore
I went to sleep and had a dream
Dont know what this all means
I wrote this song to let you know
It's been real fun
And though its done
Youre still the..
I called you up, I took you out
Showed you what life is all about
You say goodbye I walk away
Maybe Ill see you another day
Pulled in the driveway, locked the door
Wanted to talk a little more
Then there you were on my machine
Saying Im a dream
But we cant be seen
I know that you dont wanna see me no more
But youre out of luck cuz youre what I got to live for
You've said it once youll say it again
Too stupid to comprehend
Just wrote this song to let you to know
It's been real fun
And though its done
Youre still the one
