	Story Behind the Song This was one of the first songs Adam and Dave Thomas wrote together. It's about a dream where the Doomsday Destroyer comes to destroy the world, but nobody sees him coming. It was recorded in a hurry right before Adam left on his Mission. Dave finished it up after he left and had his brother Kevin record the guitar solo. Lyrics Woke up from my nightmares and got our of bed. Dreams of war and pestilence were running through my head. Finally it struck me while was sitting in my room. I Saw his presence creeping near like the shadows of the clouds. My friends around me couldn't see for they were all too proud. His build was as large as iniquity and there was brimstone in his eyes.
