	Story Behind the Song During renovations in the music department at Moorhead State University, there was a box of old fire alarms in a pile of rubbish destined for a landfill. I saw them and thought, "hey, I could do something with these!" I then set to work manipulating the alarms by such processes as sledge-hammering, drilling holes, and grinding away layers of metal.
